Biographies of people buried between 1950 - 1959

Albert Edward Schofield (1908 – 1950) – Lorry Driver who died as a result of an accident.

Charles Eric Forsyth (1885 – 1951) – Gold medal winner in the 1908 Olympic Games for water polo.

John Binns (1881 – 1956) – Proprieter of Victoria Cafe and Salford Mayor

Elizabeth (Mammie) Kayes (1878 – 1957) – Circus performer and Fairground operator.

William Llewellyn Arter OBE (1874 – 1958) – Chief Engineer on Manchester Liners and OBE recipient for outstanding Conduct.

Edward Colman (1936 – 1958) – Manchester United Busby Babe who perished in the Munich Air Disaster.
