Andrew served throughout the Boar War and proudly always kept his medal in his wallet.

Prior to the war he worked in Trafford Park at Taylors Steel Works.

He attended Salford’s Central Hall Mission.

His brother Private 6967 William Craig of the Cameron Highlands was killed in active service on 24th October 1914.
