Tree Planting for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

 The Friends group got into the swing of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on 5th June, when Salford Ceremonial Mayor, Ann-Marie Humphreys unveiled a plaque next to a newly planted tulip tree at Weaste Cemetery. Our Chairman Paul Sherlock delivered a speech about the many connections and visits to Salford made by the Royal Family over the years.
